LBCA’s Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) members continue to drive critical progress in understanding, diagnosing, and treating invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) and have co-authored 18 ILC specific studies so far this year. These new studies cover updated global WHO diagnostic guidelines and biological insights, bioengineered models to study cancer dormancy, long-term survival metrics in younger patients, surgical de-escalation strategies, plus Phase 3 trial results for targeted therapies in advanced ILC, and educational resources to increase clinician awareness of ILC’s distinct presentation.
