In April 2021, LBCA met one of its longstanding goals when we issued a solicitation for the inaugural Young Investigator Award for Lobular Carcinoma Research jointly with Conquer Cancer/the ASCO Foundation.  Later that month a second ILC-specific grant was announced in collaboration with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).  We now have funded multiple grants. Thanks to our partners and with the generous support of LBCA’s donors, we have taken one step closer to our vision of a world in which lobular breast cancer is found early, treated effectively, and eradicated permanently.
