For Clinicians and Researchers
The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) engages patients, clinicians, and researchers to increase knowledge of lobular breast disease and promote lobular breast cancer research.
Working with the guidance of an international, expert Scientific Advisory Board of breast cancer researchers and clinicians, and through growing collaborations with other breast cancer advocacy organizations in the US and internationally, LBCA provides a platform for invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) research, maintains a library of current lobular breast cancer publications, and identifies clinical trials and research advocacy opportunities with a focus on lobular breast disease.
As a clinician and/or researcher, you need the most relevant, up-to-date information for your patients and your work. We’re here to help by providing you with clinical peer-reviewed resources and an opportunity to query ILC expert clinicians and researchers.
ILC Publications Library
We’ve collected a library of published ILC research that is updated regularly.
We’ve begun a blog series authored by the top ILC clinicians and researchers in the field.
We have an array of educational videos and podcasts, a collection of taped interviews with individuals or panels of clinicians or researchers on ILC- focused topics from past conferences, and videos on ILC Topics being discussed by our Scientific Advisory Board members available for viewing. Both you and your patients can review these trusted resources whenever is most convenient for you.

LBCA will share descriptions of challenging clinical ILC cases, the transcripts or video from discussions of the case among clinicians with ILC expertise, and the conclusions or solutions arrived at.
Clinicians: Pose a Question about an ILC Case You have Encountered that has you Stumped
We invite you to pose questions for the ILC clinicians on our scientific advisory board, and we will periodically feature questions received and responses from our scientific advisory board members with clinical ILC expertise and/or will present the question as a case study.
