Partner Spotlight
We are grateful for the partner support we receive.
The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) thanks the following organizations who have shown their support by providing LBCA with unrestricted funds to further our work!

The Metastatic Breast Cancer Network (MBCN) is a patient-led, not-for-profit national organization, and the first cancer non-profit, founded in 2004, to address the unique needs of metastatic breast cancer patients who often feel ignored and misunderstood. MBCN’s mission focuses on educating and informing patients about the disease, its treatments, and how to get the best care; empowering patients to use their story and voice to make others aware of disease and the challenges facing patients; and advocating for research, focused on metastatic breast cancer, that will lengthen the lives of patients. MBCN awards financial grants to scientists and researchers who work to further define subtypes of the disease and find more effective treatments. To make ensure that metastatic breast cancer is addressed within all breast cancer organizations, MBCN became a founding member of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance in 2014.

BCCRF: Taking Action to End Breast Cancer through Advocacy, Research and Education.
Breast Cancer Care & Research Fund’s (BCCRF) mission is to eradicate breast cancer through education, research, and advocacy. Since 1998 BCCRF has educated breast cancer patients, survivors, and the lay public through dissemination of information at lectures, on its website and newsletters, and through one-on-one mentoring. BCCRF members who are National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) Project LEAD graduates are in an ideal position to collaborate with researchers on their grant proposals as well as their funded grants. Many also are peer reviewers for the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program and are advisory board members of the California Breast Cancer Research Program, the Love Research Army, and the California Teachers Study. In terms of Public Policy, BCCRF seeks the commitment of our government—at all levels—to support meaningful research, expand access to quality health care to all, adopt policies and laws that are backed by science and evidence, and to ensure that advocates have a seat at the table where decisions are made.

GE Healthcare: Thank you to GE HealthCare for their support of our October 2022 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
