LBCA Introduces Comprehensive Training on Lobular Breast Cancer for Patient Advocates

LBCA worked with Scientific Advisory Board members and other ILC researchers and clinicians to compile a comprehensive training for patient advocates on invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) aka lobular beast cancer. Topics include the biology, treatment, imaging and surveillance of ILC. 

Each session is approximately one to two hours in length and available on-demand below.

Early Stage Lobular Breast Cancer & Unresolved Questions

Presented by Dr. Sherry Shen and Dr. Julia Foldi, this session is 60 minutes in length with an additional 60 minute Q&A that follows.

ILC Biology and Pathology

Presented by Dr. Fresia Pareja, this session is about 20 minutes long with an additional 30 minute Q&A session that follows.

ILC Surgical Treatment

Presented by Dr. Anita Mamtani, this session is about 20 minutes long with an additional 30 minute Q&A session that follows.

ILC Detection, Surveillance and PET Imaging

Presented by Dr. Tali Amir and Dr. Randy Yeh, this session is 35 minutes long with an additional 60 minute Q&A that follows.
