Local Advocacy Teams

LBCA launched the Local Advocacy Team (LAT) initiative to provide opportunities for individuals with lobular breast cancer living in the same geographic area in the U.S. to connect with one another and engage in in-person ILC awareness raising activities.

LBCA Executive Director and LAT Coordinator(s) host monthly Zoom meetings. Anyone interested in local advocacy-whether you have an official team, want to start one or want to conduct local advocacy individually-are welcome to join our monthly meetings to share tips, successes, and challenges. Five LATs have launched since 2024.
