Jade Moran interviewed new SAB Member Dr. Pooja Advani, Assistant Professor of Medicine, and Breast Medical Oncologist, Director of the Robert and Monica Jacoby Center for Breast Health at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville. Jade and Dr. Advani discuss her interest in invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC), the importance of targeted research and why she believes working with patient advocates is so important.
LBCA Patient Advocate, Amy Parliman, interviewed new SAB member Dr. David Lim, a breast surgical oncologist and Medical Director of the Henrietta Banting Breast Centre at Women’s College Hospital and Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at University of Toronto. Amy and Dr. Lim discuss his focus on lobular breast cancer and why targeted research is important.
