LBCA is pleased to welcome Dr. Arya Roy to the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). Dr. Roy is Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine, at The Ohio State University and a medical oncologist at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and part of the team there with Dr. Stover that runs the James’ ILC-focused program launched last October 15th Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Day 2025. She has also already been an important contributor to LBCA’s creation of ILC educational materials for patients and clinicians.

Dr. Roy joins the SAB as a replacement for the departing SAB member Dr. Daniel Stover, her colleague at the James, who recommended her when he realized that his work there would mean he would have to step away from our SAB. LBCA extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Stover for his expertise and service to the SAB and his efforts to advance the James Cancer Hospital’s focus on ILC research, and is pleased to welcome Dr. Roy as its newest member.
