LBCA is excited to welcome Mary Pat Landry to the LBCA Board of Directors.
A Louisiana native, Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology before working as a hospital bacteriologist until 1984. Since then, she has been a dedicated community volunteer, serving with several nonprofit organizations supporting children, education, and local community initiatives through board service, fundraising, and volunteer work.
After being diagnosed with ILC in 2022, Mary discovered firsthand the challenges of detecting and treating this unique disease. Grateful for the support and resources she found through LBCA, she is passionate about raising awareness of ILC, improving diagnostic imaging, advancing research, and expanding access to effective treatments. Now as a board member and ambassador, Mary looks forward to helping LBCA grow its reach and ensure more people diagnosed with ILC have access to the information and support they need.
Please join us in welcoming Mary to the LBCA team. Learn more here about the dedicated staff, board members, and volunteers working to further LBCA’s mission.
