The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Inc. is conducting a survey of individuals diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) and their experiences with breast surgery. You are invited to complete this survey if you have been diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer, even if you have never had breast surgery for your lobular breast cancer.
We intend to draft an abstract of our survey results and submit it for consideration for presentation at an upcoming breast cancer conference. Our hope is that the results will provide interesting information about ILC and surgery that will be of interest to clinicians, researchers, and other patients. Furthermore, our goal is to stimulate the interest of researchers and inspire more, much needed ILC research that might one day positively affect the surgical aspect of treatment for patients with ILC.
This study and survey have been reviewed by an independent institutional review board (IRB). This IRB determined that the survey poses minimal risks to participants and is considered exempt from a full IRB review.
The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey closes on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
If you choose to participate, we thank you for sharing your experience as part of this survey!
