October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we continue to shine a spotlight on the 15% of breast cancer diagnosis that are invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC), aka lobular breast cancer. ILC is the 2nd most common type of breast cancer but receives only 1% of breast cancer research funding.

LBCA has started a movement worldwide to raise awareness of ILC and the need for more research to improve detection and find targeted treatment. Individuals with lobular breast cancer, and their families, have shared their stories with an ILC diagnoses and the critical need for more research.  Watch and share these videos and reels with your social networks to help spread the word.
