New ILC Support Groups from Surviving Breast Cancer – Training for Facilitators

LBCA is excited to partner with SurvivingBreastCancer.org to expand peer-to-peer support for those affected by lobular breast cancer. Surviving Breast Cancer (SBC) offers free, virtual support groups for early-stage, metastatic, and special-focus communities like inflammatory breast cancer and, coming soon, metastatic invasive lobular carcinoma (mILC), connecting people in a safe and understanding space.

If you’re interested in getting involved, SBC will be hosting a Peer Facilitator Training on September 27–28th to prepare volunteers to lead these groups.

SurvivingBreastCancer.org (SBC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals diagnosed with breast cancer and their families from day one and beyond. We provide free educational programs, weekly support groups (including for early-stage, metastatic, and special-focus communities), and wellness workshops such as meditation, expressive writing, and art therapy. Through our podcast, blogs, and webinars, SBC connects patients and caregivers with trusted information, expert voices, and a vibrant community — empowering people to navigate breast cancer with knowledge, confidence, and hope.
