LBCA Wins 2026 Communicator Award for Nonprofit Social Media

We’re excited to share that LBCA has won a 2026 Communicator Award, Nonprofit Social media, level of distinction for the LBCA-Dr. Klingman Lobular Breast Cancer Research Challenge!

During Women’s History Month, Lume Deodorant founder and lobular breast cancer survivor, Dr. Shannon Klingman, made a historic $1 million gift to the LBCA to accelerate research into invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC).

To build on this momentum, LBCA has partnered with Dr. Klingman to launch a matching gift challenge—aiming to double the impact. Together, these funds will support four clinical research studies focused on advancing effective treatments for lobular breast cancer.

The Communicator Awards are awarded by The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), an assembly of over 1,100 industry leaders from brands, institutions and agencies including experts from Netflix, National Geographic Society, PepsiCo, Accenture, NASA/JPL, FedEx, and more.
