We are pleased to announce that LBCA has just awarded two new, one-year, $50,000 ILC research grants through our partnership with Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation and their new EveryGrant program through which LBCA will administer the grants.

Dr. Manisha Bahl, MD, MPH, FSBI, of Massachusetts General Hospital, has been awarded the 2024 Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance and Sarah Bieze Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Grant for her research project “Improving Detection of Invasive Lobular Carcinoma on Digital Breast Tomosynthesis and Reducing False-Negative Rates with Artificial Intelligence.”

Dr. Higinio Dopeso, PhD of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has been awarded the 2024 Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance and Deb Mueller Foundation Fund Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Grant in honor of Dr. Deborah L. Mueller for his research project “Deciphering Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Vulnerabilities in RHOA-Altered Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer.”
