In the Netherlands, Stichting Lobulair Borstkanker has organized an ILC awareness day on Oct 15th.

To raise awareness of lobular breast cancer (ILC) among patients and healthcare professionals, ILC organizations have declared October 15 as World ILC Day. To mark this occasion, UMC Utrecht, Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, Erasmus MC, and Maastricht UMC+ are jointly organizing an afternoon conference in Amsterdam.

During the congress, speakers from research, healthcare, and patient organizations share the latest insights and experiences regarding lobular breast cancer.

This meeting was initiated by the Lobular Breast Cancer Foundation.
