After a year of discussion with LBCA, the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated the breast cancer page on its website with information about invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) in addition to links to the Cleveland Clinic’s in-depth website page about ILC and to the LBCA patient resource page.

This is an important step for LBCA advocacy efforts to broaden awareness of lobular breast cancer for patients and clinicians and provide LBCA resources directly to the public.
