DESCRIPTION:The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) is holding its first Patient Education Day as part of its 2023 Annual Meeting. This free event offers those with cancer and their caregivers a unique opportunity to learn about the role of nuclear medicine in diagnosing and treating disease. The sessions can be attended in person or online. \nThe morning sessions offer an overview of nuclear medicine\, radiation safety\, and clinical trials. This will be followed by lunch and breakout sessions specific to disease types including breast cancer at 3pm ET/2pm CT. Learn more. \n
