DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, September 14\, 2022 from 11am – 1 pm EST/4pm – 6 pm GMT\, the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) presents Highlights of the 2022 Joint International ELBCC/Lobsterpot & LBCA Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC) Symposium\, a complimentary\, educational webinar in partnership with the European Lobular Breast Cancer Consortium (ELBCC)/Lobsterpot. \nThis program will provide attendees an opportunity to watch presentations on the key aspects of the ILC science in lay terms that were presented during the in-person ILC Symposium this past June. Three researcher panelists who are members of LBCA or ELBCC and participated in the ILC Symposium will present highlights of the basic science and the translational and clinical ILC research presented in Utrecht. The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer period. The session will be co-moderated by patient advocate leaders from ELBCC and LBCA. Registration to this virtual event is open and free of charge.

DESCRIPTION:The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance will present the educational webinar Clinical Potential of 18F-fluoroestradiol (FES) PET Imaging for Patients with Metastatic Lobular Breast Cancer on December 2\, 2021. The pre-recorded webinar\, moderated by LBCA Executive Director Laurie Hutcheson\, will feature radiologist and LBCA Scientific Advisory Board Member Dr. Gary Ulaner\, oncologist Dr. Hannah Linden\, and a patient with metastatic ILC who all have experience with Fluoroestradiol (FES) used with Positron Emission Tomography (PET). FES/PET is a new imaging resource being used in metastatic ILC imaging. \nThe intent of the educational webinar is to share information about its use with metastatic ILC to assess hormone treatment efficacy\, and to discuss other potential applications the drug may hold for imaging in treating patients with ILC.
